Recent releases include:
Defiance (April 2017). This novel is a WWII story about coming-of-age during the largest battle in US military history. The book is set during the final year of WWII and it’s about Bastien Ley’s younger brother, Lukas. (Bastien is from The Rules in Rome. This is a stand-alone novel, but readers may recognize a few characters.) Available in paperback, audiobook, and ebook formats.
The Spider and the Sparrow (February 2016). This book immerses readers in the history of the Great War with a fast-paced plot and plenty of spies, romance, and dogfights. The Spider and the Sparrow is available in paperback, audiobook, and ebook formats.
I wrote two novels set in the Balkans during the late 14th century. They’re a fun mix of adventure, history, and wholesome romance. I’m not taking a break from writing, but there may be a slight pause in publishing. These books are a different time period than my first six novels, so they’re probably going to need a slightly different publishing path. To be sure not to miss them, sign up for my newsletter.
I’ve also completed a soft-boiled historical mystery. It’s set a few years after WWII and involves the heroine trying to find out who killed her father. It’s a stand-alone novel, but has a slight tie to Defiance, since one of the characters knew Lukas Ley during the war. This one had a strong romantic element to it (clean, of course), and will be told entirely from the heroine’s point of view.
My current work in progress is a novel set during World War One. It will include action, drama, romance, and an amazing bit of largely-forgotten history.
