Espionage Blog Tour, Day 5

Today’s tour stop is an interview at The Book Bug. You can read all about how I’m not very good at riding my bike or writing in chronological order or coming up with good titles. And if there are any problems with the post, it’s totally my fault, either because I answered the questions poorly or because the host of the website got kept up late Wednesday night reading Espionage and didn’t get all her sleep. There’s also a giveaway on that site, so if you’re interested, be sure to enter!

Espionage Blog Tour, Day 4

Today’s tour stop is an interview and a book giveaway on I Am A Reader, Not a Writer. You can read all about why I’d like to have some terrorists over for dinner, why I like my kindle, my favorite childhood book, and if I prefer Harry Potter or Twilight.

I Love My Hometown Newspaper

I’ve lived in Utah more often than not the last thirteen years, but I still call Moses Lake, Washington my hometown. Many places in Moses Lake are full of memories, especially the high school, the swimming pools, the seminary building, the church I attended, and my parent’s house. The most important thing about my parent’s home is the people that live there, but there are a few other things that make it seem like home: cookies in the cookie-jar, a fridge full of food, the grape vines in the backyard, and the newspapers. My parents get the Spokesman Review on the weekends and the Columbia Basin Herald on the weekdays, and that’s the way it’s been for decades.

On Monday the Columbia Basin Herald published an article about me. I’m not sure how long the article will be available online, but for now you can read it here. Or you can see a scanned-in version of the original paper copy here: 2012.04.16 CBH article0001.
