Here’s a list of all my books and how they fit together. Click on the cover or title for more information about each one.

Stand-alone Novels:

Each of these books is its own story with its own set of characters, but a few have a connection to other books (The Redgrave Murders to the Ley Brothers books and The Spider and the Sparrow to the Espionage Trilogy).

The Falcon Point Historical Series:

Each book in this series can be read independently, but they are listed below in the recommended reading order. For books by other authors set in the Falcon Point world, see this list on Goodreads.

The Duchy of Athens Series:

Each of these novels can be read independently and has a different protagonist, but they include many of the same characters, and events in Of Daggers and Deception build on events from Of Sword and Shadow.

The Ley Brothers:

Both of these books work as stand-alone novels and have different main characters, but Bastien Ley (from The Rules in Rome) and Lukas Ley (from Defiance) are brothers. Chronologically, The Rules in Rome comes first. The Redgrave Murders isn’t part of the series, but includes a character from Defiance.

The Espionage Trilogy:

You can read any of these books as stand-alone novels, but they work best as a series. They all have the same main characters, Peter Eddy and Genevieve Olivier. Their chronological order is Espionage, Sworn Enemy, then Deadly Alliance. Readers can also read The Spider and the Sparrow as a prequel novel to this series.

  1. I’ve read four of your books, Defiance,The Rules in Rome, Sworn Enemy and The Spider & the Fly. I’m very impressed with them. My favorite is Defiance. I think you presented the true world of the grunt soldier in WW2. Your books flow smoothly and they’re easy to follow.I’m continuing on with Espionage and Deadly Alliance. Thank you for these historic fiction stories.I love books that have historical facts in them. I’m in the process too of reading Gerald N Lund’s series ‘Fire and Steel’ and I feel like your stories are about as engulfing has his. Thank you for such great works.

    1. Thank you for your comment, Dan! I’m so glad you found my books and that you’re enjoying them. Thank you for giving my stuff a try, and thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts!

  2. I just finished listening to your Espionage trilogy. How powerful! My father was a World War II vet so I was especially interested in hearing about things in Europe during the War. I then went back to the Spider and the Sparrow. I was so taken in by your description an details. Your writing is magnificent and Jason Tatum brings your books totally to life with his accents and expressive reading. Thank you for all your research and time putting these books together.

    1. Thank you for your kind words, Saundra! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed my books! I’m lucky to have Jason as a narrator–he does such a good job. Thank you for listening to my stories!

  3. Love your books! I have read all but Defiance and the Christmas story, and I am in the middle of Defiance now!
These books have become some of my favorite to suggest to others and read! Very impressive! Keep them coming!

    1. Thank you so much for your comment, Chris. You gave me some much-needed encouragement today! And thank you for suggesting my books to others–that means so much to me.

  4. I am an audiobook junkie, I have always enjoyed your style of writing. However I cant find the third book of the WWII series (Deadly Alliance) in this format. Was is ever in this format or is it just out of print?

    1. Hello, David! I love audiobooks too, and I’m glad to hear you have enjoyed some of my novels. Unfortunately, Deadly Alliance was never made into an audiobook (publisher’s decision, not mine). It’s only available in paperback and as an ebook.

  5. I recently started listening to your books on Deseret Book’s Bookshelf app. I want to tell you how much I enjoy your writing. Not only are your books fun and exciting and inspiring, but I have learned so much about that time in history. Thank you.

So far I have listened to 5 of your books. Do you have any idea when “Deadly Alliance” will be available on the Bookshelf app? I am just starting to listen to “Sworn Enemy”, Book 2 of the series, and will be anxious to listen to “Deadly Alliance” next.

Thank you so much for stories.

    1. Hi Todd!

Thank you so much for your note! I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed my books and that you are learning more about history from them. I love history, so I try to weave a lot of it into my stories.

Yes, unfortunately Deadly Alliance isn’t in audio format. I think DB Bookshelf Plus has the ebook, but I know it’s a different experience from the audiobook and sometimes fitting in a listen is a lot easier than fitting in a read.

Thank you for trying my novels and best wishes to you!
