The Rules in Rome is a Whitney Finalist!

Parchment Finalist 2015The 2015 Whitney Award finalists were announced earlier this month, and I am thrilled that The Rules in Rome is a finalist in the Historical category.

The Whitney Award program was created to highlight quality fiction written by LDS authors. You can read more about the program on the Whitney website. I wrote about the program in more depth in this blog post.Rules in Rome small web (427x640)

For the 2015 awards, more than 300 books were nominated for consideration in eight categories: General Fiction, Historical, Mystery/Suspense, Romance, Speculative, General Youth Fiction, Speculative Youth, and Middle Grade.

The 2015 awards will be presented beginning at 7:30 p.m. on May 7th, 2016 at the Whitney Award Gala, Provo Marriott Hotel. This will be the program’s 8th year. Tickets are available to the public through the LDStorymakers website.
