Earlier this week, finalists for the 2017 Whitney Awards were announced, and I’m thrilled that Defiance is one of the historical fiction finalists. A huge thank-you to the readers who nominated me, the judges who selected the finalists, and the committee overseeing the awards this year. And a big congrats to the other finalists in a total of ten categories!
The Whitney Awards program was created ten years ago to highlight quality fiction written by LDS authors. You can read more about the program on the Whitney website. This year, winners will be announced at a gala held at the Provo Marriott on May 5th at 7:30 pm.
Yea! I was happy to see this one on there. It definitely deserved it. 🙂
